Dotted around New Zealand are old abandoned ski fields, one of them in the Canterbury high country is Mt Potts. I managed to get there for a white sticky day out on the 18th of September 2021. One of my very few days out ski touring in the 2021 season. Low down the ice made for some interesting touring, higher up there were some nice turns to be had though, even if we couldn't really see them. Hence the mostly below snow line ski touring photos.
